3M Peltor X4P3 Helmet Mounted Ear Defenders - SNR 32dB

The 3M Peltor X4P3 is the helmet-mounted version of the slim X4 ear defender, rated at SNR 32dB. It’s designed for workers who need high-level hearing protection alongside a safety helmet, without the bulk of traditional high-attenuation ear muffs.

Higher attenuation used to mean large, heavy cups. The X4 uses foam ear cup inserts, spacers and sealing-ring technology to boost noise reduction, especially at low frequencies, while keeping the cups slim and lightweight. The streamlined cups also work better alongside other PPE.

The X4P3 attaches to compatible safety helmets with robust metal arms. Wide, soft foam ear cushions help keep the wearer comfortable. The cushions and foam inserts can be replaced with a hygiene kit if they become worn or damaged, which helps extend the life of the ear defenders.

All 3M Peltor X-Series ear defenders are colour-coded by protection level. The X4’s hi-viz green makes it easy to see that the right level of protection is being worn.
